Good afternoon fellow investors, and welcome back to Invest Talk.

This is our Thursday, January 26, 2023 edition, and we are just about done with the fourth

trading week of this new year, and that means about to close up shop for the first month.

And it's been a good one overall, and we've talked a bit about what those drivers are,

but you have to look beyond just one month.

You have to understand what to expect going forward.

Now you never have a crystal ball, but it's about putting the odds in your favor.

And what happened last month or the last three months should not be your brawmater, and

it's too often that is the compass that most average investors utilize, called ReCency

Bias.

I'm sure you've done it yourself, or you've seen people who have a 401k, and they get

a list of the funds that they have available, and they get some sort of sheet, seem as dozens

and dozens of times, to get some sort of performance numbers.
