So much happened over this weekend.

Where do we begin the shooting in Monterey Park, California that

left 10 people dead and another 10 wounded? Do we begin with the protest in

Atlanta on behalf of the tree of the forest defender that was

killed by police or the fact that in Memphis, Tennessee, five police officers have been

fired as a result of brutally

beating a black man and those five officers being black themselves.

to mass shootings for whatever the motivation is whatever

the source of the violence where it comes from in this instance it was

an Asian man a 72 year old Asian man who later died from a self-inflicted

gunshot wound during a standoff with the police. Now the victims were all of

Asian descent, five women and five men killed by the 72 year old.

As it stands right now, we don't have a motive or we don't have any information as to why he did this but what we do

know is that he was using a magazine fed semi-automatic pistol that had an extended large capacity magazine

attached to it. This is according to ktLA.com. Now whatever the motivation, whatever the cause of this, we know it is the ease with

which people can get guns in this country to act out on whatever impulse is driving them to murder.
