I was reading a story in the fifth quarter.

And I was reminded that back in the day, as a young lad, I watched the Bucks lose heartbreakingly and have two touchdowns called back against the Rams for the right to go to the Super Bowl and play the Steelers, where we would have gotten killed.

This is the ninth playoff meeting between Green Bay and San Francisco.

Two previous playoff matchups between the Bucks and the Rams combined to score under 26 points.

I think the first one, the one I'm referencing, obviously, was the 9-to-nothing loss for the Bucks,

and then the other was the famed Bird Emanuel game, which I'm still angry about.

And it led to a rule change, as we recall, which, you know, at that time,

really thought we were going to go on the road and get that win.

Didn't happen.
