0:25.4

who is here to help us understand Donald Trump and trade and the trade war.

0:32.5

The official trade war is starting today with China as I understand it.

0:37.5

That starts right the president and Zishan Ping go 1, 2, 3, 4. I declare trade war.

0:43.0

Yes, that is exactly how it works. But seriously, what literally happened today?

0:49.8

Yeah, so at about 12.01 this morning, the US officially initiated tariffs on $34 billion worth of Chinese goods.

2:10.1

So they're going to be 25% more expensive.

2:13.2

So it means that when importers are going to pull them into the US, then they have to pay an extra 25% on those goods.

2:19.7

And that makes them a lot more expensive at the border.
