On this election day in the United States,

I want to lead us to pray according to two passages,

Matthew chapter six versus nine and ten, and

revelation chapter 22 versus 20 and 21.

So first Matthew chapter six verse nine.

Jesus says, pray then like this, our Father in heaven, hallowed

be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

This is how Jesus taught us to pray.

And then... This is how Jesus taught us to pray.

And then this is the culmination, consummation of the answer to that prayer in Revelation,

chapter 22 verses 20 and 21 this is how the Bible

ends. He who testifies to these things says surely I am coming soon.

Amen.

Come Lord Jesus. The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all.

Amen. So let's just go straight into praying according to these verses, the

beginning and the end of the New Testament. As we pray on election day in the United States of America, we pray,

Our Father in Heaven, hallowed be your name.

God, we pray for the exaltation of your name,

for the exaltation of Jesus name in this country and in every country among every

people group in the world. God we pray for the hallowing of your name, the fearing of your name,

the knowledge of your name, the glory of your name.
