0:15.2	We do have a ceasefire and hostage deal with Israel and Hamas, the question as is always the case with these
0:24.6	deals. How durable will it be? Will it really get off the ground or will something interfere?
0:31.6	There's already questions about that. And who is responsible, which is a subject that is already
0:37.2	generating significant interest.
0:39.3	So let's start with the terms.
0:40.8	The Associated Press has a good write-up, which we will link to about this.
0:45.7	And it says, if the Israel-Hamas ceasefire deal goes according to the current draft, fighting will stop in Gaza for 42 days.
0:55.0	Dozens of Israeli hostages and hundreds of Palestinian prisoners will be freed.
0:59.9	In this first phase, Israeli troops will pull back to the edges of Gaza.
1:04.6	Many Palestinians will be able to return to what remains of their homes as stepped up aid will flow in.
1:13.2	The question is if the ceasefire will survive beyond that phase. That will depend the Associated Press Rights on even more
1:18.8	negotiations meant to begin within weeks in those talks, Israel, Hamas, and the U.S. Egyptian
1:24.0	and Qatari mediators will have to tackle the tough issue of how Gaza will be governed
1:29.1	with Israel demanding the elimination of Hamas. Without a deal within those 42 days to begin the
1:35.5	second phase, Israel could resume its campaign in Gaza to destroy Hamas, even as dozens of hostages
1:41.7	remain in the militants' hands. Hamas has agreed to a draft of the ceasefire deal.
1:46.9	Israeli officials say details are still being worked out.
1:49.4	Details could change.
1:50.4	The whole deal could, of course, fall through.
