That's such a solid, excitable,

balls McWinsday effort on my part that it popped the mic.

I'm glad I had the over-ear cans on my dome,

not over the ears.

That would have been a tough experience.

So somebody was mentioning in the chat a moment ago about the uneasy feeling they have relative to the conversation centered around establishing the run.

But remember, that has to do with the fact that this is going to be the modus operandi of the offense.

This is the emphasis.

This is what Gus Malzon does and has, even in his failed seasons,

impressive stats rushing the football.

So they are going to run the football.

It doesn't mean they won't be able to do other things.

Doesn't mean that they aren't going to try to do other things,

but they're going to run the football.

I've seen it in different places, different numbers, but either of the two are impressive.

19 seasons for Gus Malzahn running in offense.

16 or 17, depending upon where you look, a thousand-yard individual rusher.

He finds a bell cow and he works that guy to hell.

And I love that.

Running backs will, if you win the job, be excited about that because they get the opportunity to build throughout the game and have some success and certainly compile stats.
