Summary

In this week’s episode… Colbie and Adam get a couples massage (honeymoon szn), froyo culture is officially back, and Adam has a new date story that might top them all. We debate whether you can fake an accent (spoiler: Katy cannot), overuse “let’s circle back,” and no barrier is too high for Adam to watch The Real Housewives of London. Plus, a full Boston trip recap including the best night out in Boston. We finish by giving advice to a listener on the perfect night out in NYC. All this and more on this weeks Match Made!

Advice segment: If you need advice on a situation, or have a wild story to share - email matchmadepodcast@gmail.com with subject line “ADVICE SEGMENT” where we will pick stories to answer each week (anonymously - always). And don’t forget to email us your advice segment updates!

Katie, you remind me of, or the situation that you just said, it reminds me of when a cat is like circling a little spot and then like digging a little bit and trying to make it so comfortable.

You should go to your nail salon and get a massage. Well, I'm the queen of doing that. It happens that I do need to go to the salon today because, as you can see, I fucked up my finger. I was about to say, I see you waving around your little green finger. Well, I had to. The thing is, I'm a picker. Like, I'm a picker. I'm a fucker arounder with things that are imperfect. I blame it on my perfectionism. So my nail got like slightly messed up. Like the polish like cracked off. And I knew that if I didn't cover it with a band-aid, I would fuck with it further and make it even worse. So I've covered it. I've hidden it from myself. At first I thought you were up to say it was like a looks thing. Like you were like, I can't have anybody see the cracked nail polish. No, I can't have me see it. Okay, yeah, because then I was like, and you thought that Band-Aid would make it better? It's bright green. Katie literally looks like she has a witch's finger. No, I'm going I'm going to the emergency room today, aka my, it's just an emergency appointment today. This happened last night. It needs to be dealt with immediately. I feel like this keeps happening to you. Well, usually it's my pinky. So this is a different. The nails also so pointed, it really looks like a witch's finger. Thank you.
