Pray the Word with David Platt is a resource from radical.net. Mark chapter 5 versus 24 through 34, much like in

previous Pray the Word episode from the end of Mark chapter 4. I just want to read this story and then

pray it over you. Such a great story. So a great

crowd followed Jesus and thronged about him. And there was a woman who had a discharge of blood

for 12 years and it had suffered much under many physicians that had spent spent all that she had, and was no better,

but rather grew worse. She had heard the reports about Jesus, and came up behind him in the

crowd, and touched his garment, for she said, if I touch even his garments, I will be made well.

And immediately the flow of blood dried up and she felt in her body

that she was healed of her disease. And Jesus, perceiving in himself that power had gone out from him,

immediately turned about in the crowd and said, who touched my garments? His disciple said to him, you see the crowd

pressing around you, and yet you say, who touched me? And he looked around to see who had done it.

But the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came in fear and trembling and fell down before him

and told him the whole truth and he said to her daughter

your faith has made you well go in peace and be healed of your disease oh i just want to pray this one truth

from this passage over you so let this truth soak in and then i'm just going to

pray it over you like in a sea of urgent need jesus stops for you huh you just think about this

this passage just is actually on the way to heal a girl who's dying and who's actually dead, we find out in just a moment in this passage.

And he's surrounded by all this crowd, all these people, and in this sea of urgent need, which we've seen in the gospel of Mark.

He's just constantly surrounded by people in need of healing, need of this, need of this,

need of this, need of that.

And in this sea of urgent need, Jesus stops for this woman.

And so, God, I just want to pray that truth over every single person who's listening right now, not knowing
