So I'm just going to read the first part of this verse.

I will sing a new song to you, oh God.

I will sing a new song to you, oh God. And then right after that, David, who's writing this Psalm just talks about how as God gives him victory, as God rescues him, as God delivers him from the hands of foreigners that he will sing a new song.

And the picture is like every time I celebrate your deliverance, find myself singing a new song.

So this is language we see at other places throughout Scripture all the way to the end of the Bible in Revelation.
