Hey there, it is our first episode ever of 2L and back.

And so before we jump into the episode, we wanted to tell you who we are and why we're here.

I'm Reese Bernard. I am the editor-in-chief and CEO of Autostraddle.com, the world's most popular website for LGBTQ women and non-binary people.

And I'm also the co-founder of A-Camp, an annual retreat for queer people in Southern California

that is co-directed by my friend here. Who are you? Oh my gosh, I am Kristen Rousseau, and in addition to

co-directing the wonderful A-Camp, I've worked with LGBTQ communities for the past decade through my work

on Everyone is Gay, My Kid is Gay, I wrote a book for parents called This Is a Book for

of Gay Kids, and I also co-host and produce Buffering the Vampire Slayer, which is a Buffy

the Vampire Slayer podcast.

In this podcast, we are going to be recapping every episode of The L Word one by one.

It will be around 95% spoiler-free.

There's a few things that we might allude to that were common knowledge at the time.

But in general, we're going to try to keep it as virginal as possible for those of you who

are watching it for the very first time.
