| 0:00.0 | Let's talk with another fellow retirement planner, Lauren Hunt, from Daybreak Wealth Management in this, the 98th episode of the Retirement Planning Education Podcast. |
| 0:12.4 | Welcome to the Retirement Planning Education Podcast, where you can learn all about IRAs and Roth IRAs, employer retirement plans, taxes, social security, Medicare, |
| 0:22.6 | portfolio withdrawal strategies, annuities, estate planning, and much more. And now here's your |
| 0:28.0 | host, Andy Panko. Hello again, everybody. How you doing? Glad you're here. Thanks for listening |
| 0:33.5 | as always. Today we have another fun retirement planner chat where I'm joined by a fellow |
| 0:39.3 | practitioner in the retirement planning world. Today I'm talking with Lauren Hunt from daybreak |
| 0:45.5 | wealth management based in Illinois. She and I had a great conversation. I'm sure you'll all get a lot |
| 0:51.7 | out of it and she has some really good framing and views and |
| 0:54.9 | perspectives of how to think about things and approach things, which was really nice to hear |

| 1:28.3 | answer. So my background and sort of my world is heavy in the tax planning side, but she raises |
| 1:33.6 | a great point. There's some people where you kind of approach it with almost too much emphasis. |
| 1:38.4 | And you can get lost in the details and sort of lose side of the bigger picture because you're |
| 1:43.7 | worrying too much about |
| 1:44.6 | trying to optimize, you know, to the end's degree, something about Irma or fill in a bracket |
| 1:50.8 | or Roth conversions or whatever may be. Not to say those things aren't important. All these things |
| 1:54.9 | are important in a big plan. But it is quite possible and very common for some people to |
| 2:00.5 | spend too much focus on that. |
