as always. Today we have another fun retirement planner chat where I'm joined by a fellow

practitioner in the retirement planning world. Today I'm talking with Lauren Hunt from daybreak

wealth management based in Illinois. She and I had a great conversation. I'm sure you'll all get a lot

out of it and she has some really good framing and views and

perspectives of how to think about things and approach things, which was really nice to hear

and really insightful. And I agree with a lot of it. So I'm not just saying I like it because I

agree with it. But I think she really does have a good way and approach and even sort

of a slightly different view, again, in a good way, like for example, one of the things she said

about, I won't spoil us too much, but the question was, what is one area that many people

spend too much focus or energy on in retirement planning? And she said tax planning, which I thought was a great

answer. So my background and sort of my world is heavy in the tax planning side, but she raises

a great point. There's some people where you kind of approach it with almost too much emphasis.

And you can get lost in the details and sort of lose side of the bigger picture because you're

worrying too much about

trying to optimize, you know, to the end's degree, something about Irma or fill in a bracket

or Roth conversions or whatever may be. Not to say those things aren't important. All these things

are important in a big plan. But it is quite possible and very common for some people to

spend too much focus on that.
