Welcome to Verity Podcast. I'm your host, Felicia Mason-Himer, and I am here to

teach you how to know what you believe, to live it boldly, and to communicate it

0:11.3

graciously to the world around you. I believe that women are ready to go deeper in

their faith than ever before, and they don't have to go to seminary to do it. I am

1:36.7

remember what day it is. And that actually helped, but I don't recommend it. It's not secure,

1:41.6

and we no longer do that. But it did help me for a period of time. All of this to say,

1:47.6

it's possible to know someone and not really know them, right? You could know someone's birthday,

1:56.1

but not know them intimately, you know, as a friend, or you could know someone like be married

2:02.2

to them like me and not know their birthday. And so many of us treat Jesus in this way. We know

2:09.6

him. We know facts about him. We memorize verses about him and his actions, but we don't really

2:15.2

know him. So if we were asked, who is Jesus? What did he do? Why do you follow him? A lot of us
