Hey, what's up there?

Surf Splender listeners.

Welcome back after, geez, about a month long hiatus.

This is, of course, your host, David Scales.

That was kind of an unanticipated hiatus,

to be honest. I was out of the country in Central America and surf trip, of course, and had have a few things that I've been wanting to post, kind of half-finished episodes that I was

planning to work on while I was out of town and get up.

And then American Airlines, thank you very much, lost all of our luggage.

They lost half the planes worth of luggage on a Saturday, I think is when our flight arrived.

We didn't get our bags until Wednesday.

And then from that point, it was just all chaos, all my audio equipment. I was just playing catch up with professional obligations that I have and other stuff. And was really, you know, feeling concerned about not getting an episode up. And then at a certain point, all of the stress and everything was really weighing on me. And it's like, look, I'm in Central America

catching waves. Like, I need to be able to enjoy this. So I just let it go at a certain point

and accepted vacation, which was actually quite nice. So I apologize about that, but I have been working on other things

in the meantime, and that's kind of what I want to direct you to with this episode. And that is

a surfing magazine just posted a Bruce Irons podcast. And I edited that for them. I was not involved in any way in the production

or the capturing of the audio or even the interview. They kind of brought me in after the fact

just to edit based on, you know, what I do here with Surf Splendor. And so that is recently up on their site. I'm not going to post
