Well, he healed a sick and afflicted.

The story was that if the pool at the

Bethesda was stirred, presumably by an angel,

if you got into the pool first you would be healed. presumably by an angel.

If you got into the pool first, you would be healed

of whatever afflictions you had.

Now we don't know if that's just a wives tale,

or if it actually happened,

but we do know that there was a man there

who never made it down into the pool on time.

Someone always went in before him 38 years suffering from his affliction and when he encounters Jesus Jesus doesn't help him into the pool. Jesus just heals him.
