It's cold and dreary but it's summer. But I have big news. I am on summer break.

EY!

Get out your kazoos everybody. Cheer it up.

Yesterday at 1 o'clock, I finished my grades one hour past the deadline.

It was due at noon, but I finished it one.

We have, with all my kids at home, I have to say, because they go to a school that is

academically rigorous and because they work really hard in an academically rigorous environment.

It takes us this adjustment into summer.

It's like, I am not in any way able to keep up with their levels their appetite for activity, challenges and food.

The appetites are unbelievable.

It is like a fleet of lawnmowers coming at you. What are we going to do?

What's the plan? What should I read? Where am I going to work on? Like, how shall I then be challenged today mama?

And I'm like, what?

My problem that I hit this every summer,

but it hit me hardcore on Monday because we got through finals last week on Friday, graduation Saturday, and then I had Monday, Tuesday,

and grades were due Wednesday.

But on Monday, I was like, I'm just taking the day.

I'm going to have a moment of take a breath.

And when summer starts and I have all these huge plans of things that I want to do, it's like,
