0:15.6	All right guys today we are going to be discussing the recent rash of mass shootings that have occurred in the United States
0:22.0	and you might be a little bit surprised at the timing of shootings that rash of
0:25.0	occurred in the United States and you might be a little bit surprised at the timing of this
0:25.1	podcast because obviously that rash of shootings occurred
0:29.7	you know several weeks ago from from the time that you're typically going to be listening to this if you're
0:33.4	listening to this on time.
0:34.8	We had the Gilroy California shooting.
0:36.7	We had the shooting in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio and pretty much Chicago every weekend.
0:42.2	But everybody wanted to give their take immediately.
0:45.7	If not on the Saturday of that shooting or the Sunday of that shooting on the Monday after, you know,
0:50.0	the first, you know, full day of the new cycle.
0:52.3	They wanted to kind of give you, you know, full day of the new cycle. They wanted to kind of give you, you know, their opinion and they wanted to give it to you as fervently and defensively as possible and whatever the thing might be.
1:00.0	But for me, I made a very conscious decision that I wanted everything to calm down, including myself, before addressing this issue.
1:09.0	Okay, because again, it's one of those things that when this comes up it becomes very
1:15.2	incendiary for a while and then it kind of fades away and then invariably it comes back
1:20.4	right but for today's podcast what this isn't going to be is this isn't going to be
1:26.4	guns in the reality of evil part two. So if you go back to episode 10 of this podcast,
1:31.2	okay, so very early on in this podcast I address this. This was after of this
1:34.1	This was after shooting at a school in Florida. So I kind of broke that I broke a lot of things down in that so I went into some of the arguments that pro-gun people and
1:43.7	anti-gun people make and how they're wrong. I went into some of my personal
1:47.2	opinions. I went into a lot of different areas and so some of that stuff I'm
