I love this expression.

The other day I went strawberry picking,

Mmm, fresh strawberries.

That's music to my ears.

My son said his first word. He said, Father, I love you. Oh, my God, those were his first words.

Those words are music to my ears. Hmm. If something is music to your ears, it means whatever you heard was really good.

So if you heard your son's first words, they were music to your ears. They sounded so wonderful.

If you heard about fresh strawberries, ooh, that sounds delicious.

That sounds wonderful.

If something is music to your ears, it sounds wonderful.

And it doesn't have to be music check out the dialogue dinner's ready
