Summary

Jarred Taylor hosts Angel Cortes via teleconference in this episode of Free Range American. Angel grew up in southern California and despite a traumatic childhood and being thrust into gang culture, found success in the Army. While in the 75th Ranger Regiment, Angel experienced a level of purpose and brotherhood that he now does his best to recreate as a civilian with other veterans through his social media and in person meetups.

1:31.9	veteran if and and you know at the time you know what the internet wasn't what it used to what it is now
1:39.1	so like people didn't really know who was who or what you know they were from and and stuff like that
1:44.1	and a lot of the stuff just made me laugh and And I mean, I was still active duty. So but I just figured, I mean, maybe that's what a veteran is like. And you've never seen people do like these, not necessarily like skits, but like, you know, these types of videos. It was new. And I think, I mean, I think a lot of us loved them. That's an awesome, dude. Funny to hear. I forget how long that we've been doing this sometimes. And even then, it seems like even longer. When I look back to like El Paso days, like 2013, 2014, I mean, that just seems ages ago. And it's just the stuff that we're doing now is just a little bit different, higher quality,
