The cream of the grot!

Hey, welcome to Triviality, the game where a lack of seriousness meets a little bit of knowledge.

My name's Ken, and I'll be your host today.

Joining me as scorekeeper is Neil, and today we're going to have a one-on-one match between Jeff and Matt.

How are you guys feeling today?

Pretty confident, actually, today. Yeah? For no reason. Yeah, I just feel really confident. How about you, Jeff? I'm not feeling confident then. A little tired, maybe? I'm a little tired, and I know that you can't edit out stupid, so... Well, sometimes you can make a little tweak to stupid, but, you know, on the whole, it's pretty difficult to cut.

Yeah, you can't edit it all out, so.

You could auto tune it. All right. So, Neil, can we go over the rules for the game today? Yeah, the tension in the air is thick today, so we'll see how this goes. We're bitter rivals, that's what you're saying. Yes. The game is simple. We've got 20 questions in a variety of topics, worth 10 points a piece and split into two rounds.

At halftime, there will be a special swing round designed by Ken, where players can take a larger lead or gain some ground for a comeback. And at the end of regulation, players will enter the final round with the points that they have accumulated and will have the chance to wager zero to 30 of those points on five questions based on their confidence of the final round categories.

At the end of the game, as always, someone will be named, the cream of the crop.
