| 1:26.5 | The first is drought. Southern California is either in drought or in |
| 1:29.6 | relatively dry conditions. Second, there's low humidity. Now, in general conditions for fires get |
| 1:35.5 | pretty nasty when it is less than 10% humidity out there. Santa Monica yesterday got less than 1%. |
| 1:42.7 | Third, when you have those kinds of conditions but sustained winds in excess of 30 miles an hour, that is going to create problems. |
| 1:50.0 | And that is exactly the problem here. |
| 1:53.0 | The Santa Ana winds are in full force this morning. |
