Unwillingness is a reluctance to commit yourself, to commit oneself to something

you see you are reluctant

to commit yourself

for whatever reason

you see

they were reluctant to commit themselves

to this whole

adventure

of entering the promised land they were reluctant to commit themselves to this whole adventure of entering the promised land.

They were reluctant.

That's the bottom line.

And so that they didn't understand or they hadn't seen a miracle before.

They hadn't had a miracle before.

They hadn't had something good happening before that fantastic things had not.

They were unwilling.

And many of us

who are claiming to the shepherds

lay pastors, lay ministers,

people that have been in lighters for a long time
