Good afternoon fellow investors and welcome to Invest Talk.

This is our Monday, September 28th, 2020 edition of Invest Talk and we're only a couple days away from the end of the quarter.

I know it's starting to feel a little like fall to me here in Southern California and

the market is rebounding from the most recent

sell-off over the past few weeks on the hopes that there will be more stimulus and this is not just coming from

Congress you know Congress loves to spend but you're also getting a Federal Reserve that

actively Wednesday came out and said that they need fiscal help in order to keep the recovery going.

Cleveland Fed President Loretta Mester said it was very much needed given the deep hole the economy is climbing out of.

Jerome Powell, the Fed Chairman, also said in a recent congressional hearing that more support is likely to be necessary.

And even in their economic prognostications. They're expecting further stimulus.

One of the members, Rosen Grant, he says that a trillion dollar stimulus is baked in to his

forecast for the next year, year and a half.

Now the projections out of the Fed

or is that unemployment will be 7.6% in the fourth quarter, down from 8.4% in August and then drop all the way back down to 5.5 by the end of next year.

But that's with stimulus.

Some Fed members aren't as optimistic though.

Some think that it's going to take another surge in COVID cases in order to get Congress to act. That's certainly possible. But you have not seen a drastic sell-off in markets in response to no deal yet.
