What was walking yesterday afternoon? I heard the uh I heard Kavanaugh's testimony.

People had their radios outside. Rather would be a painter or a rufor. There was one guy

loading luggage into his car. I didn't want to miss a word. So he had his car radio on. It was the

way it was reminiscent of the way people listened to the radio during a penit races in late September.

Kind of huddled around the uh it was it was not to be wireless. Yeah. Well and as the dust settles

I continue to believe it was one of the saddest American spectacles I've ever seen. For a variety of

reasons uh and in 24 hours I've been able to sort sort those reasons out. And I'm left with only one

conclusion. Uh what? You got to confirm the guy. Oh I thought you're going to say because it's

the end of the world. Um Johnny and I were talking about this down on our hovel. If you don't

confirm him that's Tannemout just to saying he's guilty. But he he's not guilty of anything. No

evidence was offered to support anything. I'm sure this woman was anguished by a memory that she's

has found to be extremely troubling but she can't name a thing. If you don't confirm him

you are turning your back on due process. You are ending a thousand years of Anglo-Saxon

jurisprudence. You're saying you get to be guilty. We can't prove you innocent. So therefore you're
