Jewish calendar of tradition. It is in the seventh month in the biblical calendar, but it completes a series of

one holiday or holy day after another, beginning with the sounding of the shofar, the feast of

trumpets, which has become Rosh Hashanah in Jewish tradition, the first day of the seventh month

in the biblical calendar. Ten days later, Yom Kipp day of the seventh month in the biblical calendar.

Ten days later, Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the calendar, the day of atonement.
