I am Nate Swick. I am coming to you from the biggest week in American

birding here in northwest Ohio. I am sufficiently birded up after one day here at the festival.

It was a little bit of a cloudy, rainy day this morning out of Pike Creek. But the group that I was

with, we saw a bunch of really great birds, including

the warblers that everyone comes here for the best bird of the day, probably Blackbilled

Kuku, not a bird I get to see all that often, but one that is always a real pleasure.

I am busy, as you might expect, here running around, trying to get some podcast stuff recorded,

and of course trying to see as many birds as possible during my relatively brief time
