It's Raunch, it's Friday, and we've made it to the end of another week,

and I'm actually speaking to you live from Liverpool yes and

broadcasting from my mum's kitchen table where I've returned to eat all her poached eggs, drink an entire vat of chicken soup, and

give her a huge hug and surround her with love.

My family is, this is no lie, the only thing I love more in life than Everton Football Club, and it's slowly dawned on me people that

Sean Deitch's boys just won't ever love me back. So here I am lifting Valerie

Bennett spirits in a world in which my father is not and Everton

haven't won since he passed away. In fact my mom keeps telling me maybe it's for the

best but even though I am home my mom's just nipped out to the shops and because, well, we have such an epic weekend

of football in store for us.

I wanted to drop you a couple of thoughts to frame all that is to come Manchester City

host Arsenal. Everton travelled to Leicester City, two games, one played in football's heavens, the other much closer to its rings of hell.
