The mass of men live lives of quiet desperation." We do not merely desire, we have inordinate desire driven by fear. We do not merely have ambition, we have selfish ambition in which we can only envision one possible outcome. To escape this trap, we must lean into honesty, trust and thanking God ahead of time.

0:10.2	We had an incredible relationship for one year and it was amazing.
0:20.7	The problem was we dated for three years and it was totally my fault.

0:42.2	Even though she doesn't even know she wants to get, I will get those things for her because
0:44.7	I'm going to be the perfect boyfriend.
0:45.8	So I'm going to be so perfect that if she ends up breaking up with me, all of her friends
0:49.4	will say, you're crazy.
0:50.4	Why did you do that?
0:51.4	He was the perfect boyfriend and she would be crying.

0:54.2	What have I done?
0:55.2	I've ruined my life.
0:56.2	I didn't want her to ruin her life.
