this weekend and we were with him forever. No more suffering, pain, death to be experienced by us forever.

That would be wonderful. But no, it's not going to happen. Don't want to burst any bubbles,

but it's certainly not going to happen.

That's true. But we can certainly know the day and the hour when it's not going to happen.

For example, the disciples full well knew that Jesus wasn't coming back in a matter of minutes after he left.

In fact, Peter made clear that it would be Jewish repentance that would usher in the Messiah's return.

Peter made that clear in Acts of the third chapter, that the Messiah must remain in heaven until the time the restoration of all things
