Today is Wednesday, September 15th, 2021, and we begin with a new age in space travel

dawning as the first all amateur flight crew blasts off from Cape Canaveral in Florida.

If tonight's launch goes as planned, the four individuals who only met a few months

ago will spend three days orbiting Earth in SpaceX's Crew Dragon capsule.

Billionaire businessman Jared Isaacman, shelled out the money for the trip, and he's also

one of the passengers.

This will mark the US's first man space flight with no professional astronauts on board,

which means it will be controlled completely from the ground.
