Here's an interesting one out of California.

Our governor, Gavin Newsom, his administration is cracking down on consumable hemp products

that are sold in grocery and convenience stores without age restrictions.

And those hemp products can contain THC and other cannabinoids that are intoxicating.

They get you high.

For example, the complaint, the statement goes on,

beverages and gummies that are directly targeting our kids are available everywhere,

including at my own local grocery store where they literally mixed in with their La Croy and other bubbly waters, some of these

hemp-based products. And state and federal law at this point allow for the sale of non-intoxicating

hemp products. But here's the point. Products that are non-canabous, hemp, hemp contains cannabis, but not all hemp contains cannabis.

And so there's a little bit mixed in, I think it's more of a manufacturing issue.

And what the governor wants is, okay, you have to at least make a minimum age. And this came up, and the reason

this came up is the governor was on a friend's sailboat. And do you know, of course, you have those

ropes that tie up boats to the dock, and they're made of hemp. If they're not plastic, if they're

rope rope, they're made of hemp. And they're not plastic, if they're rope rope, they're made of hemp.

And he saw some kids trying to smoke those ropes, trying to light them and just try to, you know,

puff on them. Well, first of all, it doesn't work. It's very hard to smoke a hemp rope.
