On Saturday, 18-year-old Emma reticon you of Great Britain beat Laila Fernandez of Canada

who had turned 19 last week.

Emma, who was in high school just three months ago, was ranked 150th in the world, but she

never lost a set in this tournament and showed poise and composure beyond her years on

the biggest stage in the sport.
