All right, yesterday in our very own Mike Hawk, he brought us the story of a Kentucky nurse who performed CPR on a baby raccoon that became drunk on fermented peaches before nearly drowning in a dumpster.

Frankly, if I had a dollar for every time I did that.

Now, it's a dumb story,

but it's also a true story. And equally dumb, but much scarier, a guy in Florida, he had to deal

with a wild boar after it crashed through the sliding glass door and started messing up his

house. Now, authorities were eventually able to wrangle it, but not before it destroyed pretty much everything that was indoors.

Now, not as destructive as a wild boar, but infinitely more dangerous.

Authorities in Maine, they're freaking out after confirming that the Asian long horn tick and invasive species has made its way into the state.

Now, these particular ticks, they spread spotted fever.

So you're asking yourself, what a spotted fever? The truth is, it doesn't matter. Just know it can be

fatal if it's not treated in five days. I mean, really, that's the part you care about. Yeah. Meanwhile,

several southern states, they're dealing with the kissing bug infestation.
