And we begin with a fairy tale in reverse unfolding in the California forest.

Scores of residents who recently fled Lake Tahoe's wildfire are returning home to find

not Goldilocks, but evidence that bears have been making themselves at home.

The El Dorado County Sheriff's Office is reporting that bear break-ins have doubled and in some

cases tripled in areas where thousands of homeowners recently evacuated.

Others believe the bears are venturing further into populated areas in search of food.
