and a half years ago, I rented a storage unit when we downsized from our house to a condo.

And I want to tell you my journey with the storage unit and things you should know to protect

your own wallet is the storage unit business continues to explode.

So scams come up constantly in my reading.

These are all headlines I found in two days.

First, blue tick scammers, target consumers who complain on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Despite scam alert, people are pretending to be members of the geek squad.

New Amazon scams are making the rounds.

Scammers impersonate well-known companies recruiting for fake jobs on LinkedIn and other job platforms.

FTC cautions consumers on heels of latest Zell scam.

You got the apartment spot rental listing scams before you pay.

And the losses consumers report only the ones they report nine billion last year.

I'm sure it's many times nine billion dollars.

People are losing to scamsters, those people don't even know who are where to complain.
