And we begin with a royal example of how sometimes timing is everything.

Britain's Prince Harry and wife Megan Markle are known to be outspoken environmentalists,

but two recent trips by private jet have landed them deep in hot water.

Commercial airplane travel itself is a major polluter but private

planes are seen as worse offenders because they carry fewer passengers.

Coincidentally or not, the Prince has just announced a new global initiative called Travelist to encourage

eco-friendly travel.

While the program has reportedly been in the works for years, Harry has had a royal realization that his actions were sending the wrong message.

We can all do better, he says, when it comes to the environment.

It's another reason to eat your veggies.

British doctors say a teenager's poor diet led to blindness.

The super picky eater ate nothing but french fries, chips, white bread,

and the occasional slice of ham for years.

He first went to the doctor three years ago, complaining of being tired.

His physician ordered shots of B12 to boost his vitamin intake, but the teen didn't keep up with the treatment, nor did he change his diet.

Within a year he was also having trouble hearing and within two years vision loss.

Doctors called the condition nutritional optic neuropathy

which is brought on by unhealthy eating. Even so British researchers are urging

parents not to panic about their own picky eaters.

They say the condition is rare, reversible if treated early, and entirely avoidable if you can

introduce a few new foods with every meal. In weather news, Dorian is not done with the southeast yet.
