And notice there are two hugely important events in underwear development history,

officially known as the PRSE pre-sax existence and the POSC post-sax creation.

The PRS, depicted by an invention of the 1930s. On 19th of January, 1935, Cooper's Inc.

sold the world first briefs in Chicago, actually designed by an apparel engineer named Arthur

Kniebler. Briefs dispensed with leg sections and had a Y-shaped overlapping fly. The company dubbed the design

the jockey since it offered a degree of support that had previously only been available from the

jock strap. Anyway, for 90 years, underwear sucked. Men were left with constant irritation

of skin-on-skin friction, unexpected wedges and there was a global crisis.

Women weren't turned on by men's underwear.

All this changed when we entered the P-O-S-C, post-Sax creation.

In 2006, when Trent Kitch, known now as Lord Trent Kitch, was on a fishing expedition and

after spending hours in a cold, clammy ocean wetsuit, he knew there had to be a better way

to protect his package from chafing. Trent, a former baseball player, he imagined a catcher's

mitt hammock design and turned it upside down
