How does the survival of our system of government and more particularly our right depend on the continued influence of Christianity.

Yeah, one of the things that I argue at the beginning of the book is that America is and always

was intended to be a Christian nation. I know we have gotten out of the habit of

thinking of that way about our country over the past generation or two.

But historically, especially in the founding era, it was understood that a republic of society not just in which Christianity sort of informed public life, but in which most of the people were actually practicing Christians.
