having today. I think that if we aren't constantly questioning why we're doing something,

and this can be anything, we're going to be focusing on gift giving today,

but just to be clear, this could be anything. And if we are asking and not getting a clear

answer that aligns with our values, I believe it's always worth shifting and changing. And yes,

I totally get that gift giving is a tradition. And traditions can be really beautiful

things. But if those traditions, i.e. gift giving are making your life cluttered, stressful,

in debt, anxiety-ridden, et cetera, et cetera, like that to me is not okay. So today I really

wanted to talk about some different reasons why

some of us feel this kind of untalked about pressure, this pressure of gift giving for, you know,

the special occasions or holidays, you name it. Sometimes that pressure I find just comes from society

and culture. Sometimes it comes from family members or sometimes even

ourselves. And I kind of rounded up some different examples here and wanted to see, you know,

what resonates with you? Have you felt any of these? Because I know I have. So number one on

the list is a lot of people feel pressured to give gifts because they don't want to look like a cheap skate.
