millionaire, millionaire interviews. You can imagine coming out of college starting your business

out of your best friend's parents basement then getting married then living with your father

making no money.

My sales numbers actually started to go backwards. That was difficult. We had numbers we were trying

to hit and we weren't hitting them. We weren't used to that. No actually I'm a glutton for

punishment so when I was 22 I decided you have to sometimes go to a hard place to get to a good place.

Thanks for having me Austin. Rob Dubay my company is image one. We're located just outside the

Detroit area in a suburb called Oak Park. We started our business in 1991 and what we do is

document lifecycle management and what that means is we manage all the multifunction printers and

multifunction capiors within midsize to enterprise size organizations. We also provide them with

security software to keep those devices safe and with document workflow software so they

can not print and have more productivity as documents flow throughout their organizations.

So are you from Detroit? Originally were you born in Ray's there?

I was. I was born in Ray's just outside of Detroit. How are you today?

I'm 48 years old. How's it been? I heard a lot of stuff about it kind of

be back then that it was worse there than everything else. Can you just tell us about the time

live in there? Wow. What a transformation that I have been a part of since my time here.

When I was younger in high school and even starting off the business in 1991 going downtown to

Detroit was very much it was not a common occurrence and it was very much destination based so you

would go to wherever you're going you would stay in that place and then you would leave. Now over

the last five to eight years every week I go down there something news going on something new

...
