Hello and welcome to episode 81 of the DisUnplugged,

connecting with Walt Podcast. I am your host and is historian Michael Bowling, and I am joined by my co-host,

producer and good friend Craig Williams. Craig, how are you today? I'm great. How are you, Michael? I'm doing well.

Thank you. So how was your Thanksgiving? It was pleasant. So my family was down and we got to spend a

couple days together and I actually, on Thanksgiving Day, I drove up to the mountains of Georgia, not the high up mountains,

the other mountains that are in the middle of the state where it could easily be like something right out of deliverance.

But it was lovely.

So a little day trip on Thanksgiving Day,

but then family time back here in Orlando

and had the massive marathon show,

which as of, well, that was for our Give Kids a World Auction,

which as of the day of this release is just probably somewhere around like between 24 hours and 12 hours from ending on Saturday morning at 10 a.m. Eastern time.

So things have been insane, but how was your Thanksgiving?

Well, you know, it was as good as it could be expected.

You know, Carol is in the skilled nursing facility, so daughter and I,

our daughter and I brought her over dinner. I tried to make it special, though, so, you know,

we had the, you know, real plates, and we had, you know, I had brought tablecloths and

placements and electric candles and music and um decorations and and then um i brough i snuck in

wine for at least for myself yeah well you got to i know so you know and i had them in um you know

the plastic uh tumblers that um we get at the lacer winery you know and I had them in um you know the plastic uh tumblers that um we get at the
