I'm a retired agent writing crime fiction inspired by true crime FBI cases. We get to speak to

retired agent Bob Bewkowski who served nearly 25 years with the FBI.

Prior to his appointment as a special agent in the Bureau,

Bob Pukowski served five years with the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, NCIS. During his Bureau career he was assigned

to international and domestic terrorism, foreign counterintelligence, and violent crime matters

and has worked high profile investigations

involving terrorism, kidnapping, homicides, organized crime

and multi-state violent gangs.

In this episode, Bob reviews the multi-state and multi-agency

investigation of the kidnapping and murder of New Jersey millionaire Nelson Gross.

A violent case that was perpetrated by three teenagers who played hooky from school in order to carry out their plan.

After the successful conclusion of this kidnapping and murder case.

Bob also served as a team leader in the 9-11 investigation and was interviewed by the 9-11 Commission

committee. Since retiring from the FBI, by the 9-11 Commission Committee.

Since retiring from the FBI, Bob Bukowski has been employed by the United States Attorney's

Office, where he coordinates investigations throughout Northern New Jersey between local

police departments and federal agencies. These cases are subsequently

prosecuted federally. Bob is also an adjunct professor at Farley Dickinson University in Newark, New Jersey,

where he teaches criminal justice and terrorism classes. I think you're really going to enjoy hearing from Bob
