August 9, 2013, around 1 a.m. A man calls 911, seeming panicked and out of breath.

The emergency operator fails to ascertain the man's name or location, but understands that he seems urgent and ran out of gas on Highway 277.

He asks for the cops and pleads, please hurry, before the line goes dead. Although his brother and police arrive at his truck within

15 minutes, he is nowhere to be found and the negligence of the emergency dispatch leaves room

for misunderstanding and assumptions to prevent finding him and rendering the aid he requested.

The months and years following his disappearance have been littered with misinformation,

confusion, and a lack of due diligence by the

police. Was this simply an accident, or was this man murdered in cold blood, and his disappearance

not treated with the severity it deserves by those who are supposed to be seeking justice
