We love it when new EVs get announced,

and these were really cool announcements by Rivian yesterday,

just after this show goes live. So we've had a few

hours to kind of digest the news actually. So rather than breaking news, hopefully we can add a

little bit of context. I'll give you my opinion at the end of the new segment on this,

but Rivian announced three new electric SUV models, the R2, the R3 and the RX, although calling them crossovers,

the R3 and the RX. They're certainly chunky smaller cars, but you'd call them more like a Volkswagen

golf size, really. It was at an informal event at Laguna Beach in California. I must say

that the style of the event was, I thought,

significant. It was quite a small venue, which they'd packed obviously, you know, over-subscribed

guest list. But the way that they did it, I thought was interesting. Almost in the round,

there were people on certainly three sides of RJ Scarrange with the cars rotating in the middle
