to the Ion College basketball podcast. I got Matt Norland here with me and our annual

candid coaches series launch this week. Some interesting results already. We're going

to touch on a few of those later in this podcast. But I wanted to start with the latest

with McDonald's, all American Mitchell Robinson, all indications now are that the super athletic

forward and projected first round pick of the 2018 NBA drafts going to skip college altogether

and just spend the next 10 months training for the 2018 NBA draft, which in my opinion

makes sense given where we're at right now, considering he's withdrawn from Western Kentucky

because my understanding was always that once he left Western Kentucky after enrolling,

taking classes, practicing with the team, he was going to have a hard time getting eligible

for this season. Nobody I talked to or with who's familiar with the process thought the

NCAA would actually grant him a waiver to play college basketball this season. So rather

than take English in the algebra classes at Kansas or New Orleans that he couldn't possibly

care about, why not just focus on basketball and chalk this up to a bongo decision. So
