because the answers particularly the the stories that went with

the answers were incredible and also troubling the question was this if you

missed it over cbs sports dot com we asked more than a hundred college

coaches some white some black if they've ever had

an uncomfortable or inappropriate encounter with a member of law enforcement

and sixty eight percent of the black coaches said yes only twelve percent of

the white coaches said yes and almost half of the white coaches who said yes

so so half of the twelve percent

uh... said the only bad experiences they've had

uh... came when they were in a vehicle with a black person the disparity in

those numbers is it is staggering and and yet also like i said uh... unsurprising

the question

obviously was prompted by the larger conversation this nation is having about

how police treat minorities and uh... cell phone videos of police killing

black men for for seemingly in some cases no good reason uh... have have raised
