And we begin with the one and only girl playing in the Little League World Series this year,

kicking up some infield dirt. 12-year-old Stella Weaver, singled, scored a run, and was

hit by a pitch in route to helping her Tennessee team beat Rhode Island on Friday. Today,

she may even take the mound and pitch against Washington. As her coach told reporters, she's

a baseball player. She's not just a girl who's here, she can really play the game, and she's very,

very good. Mother Nature is so busy, it's hard to keep up with the fallout. First, to Maui,

where President Biden today gets his initial look at what's left of Lahaina. After surveying the

damage, Mr. Biden will meet with victims and first responders. In the Canadian province of British

Columbia, at least 30,000 homeowners have been ordered to evacuate while nearly 400 separate

wildfires continue to rage. And to Southern California, where the problem is in fire, but rain.

Hillary raced ashore yesterday as the first tropical storm to hit the region in nearly 100 years.
