Good evening everybody, how are you? this is Steve Peasley welcome to invest talk it is Friday August 21st

2020 that means we're about two-thirds the way through August and we'll be the last

week in September six more trading days anyways there are many things that are different about this year, mostly due to COVID-19, right?

Mostly.

But it's also a presidential election year, which comes around once every four years.

So it's pretty safe to say that it's been pretty difficult years,

especially with a shutdown of the economy completely.

And of course that then crashed the market and the market's been working up

every since then. It's now at a couple of new highs not the overall market by

the way just so you know if you look at NYSC is not there but the

NASDAQ is of course blue past its old high weeks ago because of the Fang stocks, Facebook, Apple, Netflix, Google,

Microsoft, those stocks have been really driving the market. I mean when you have a stock like

Apple is two trillion dollars close to it in market cap and it's and the prices of these things, now when Apple splits, like when that happens, they won't be so

influential on some of the indexes.

Because some are price-weighted.

Price-weighted.

So it's just, you know, you don't get a complete picture,

but that's all the report on the news outlets.

SB 5 or the Dow and the NASDAQ, those three are their main

main indexes, they quote. It's not all, it's not true. I know With the splits I think it might help some of the index has become more
