and though we're very, very excited if you read a lot of Lakers' blogs,

some of those Lakers' blogs are saying, good riddance.

We have a guy on the phone that will tell us whether that's a good thing

that we got him or not.

Roland Lazenby, am I saying your last name correctly?

Not bad. Jack Kent Cook told me once years ago that I didn't know how to pronounce my own name.

Don't feel bad about calling it Lazenby.

It's not the only time that pronunciation's been used.

Roland has written a bunch of books about the Lakers, one of them being Jerry West,

a life and legend of a basketball icon, the show, another book about the Lakers,

and working on a biography about Michael Jordan right now.

Is there a specific angle to that or just a life and times of?

A life and times of a comprehensive telling of his life story.

I've written a thousand pages out about another 100 pages to go,

and little brown is my publisher. I'm sure we'll work to trim it back to about 700 or 800 pages.
