Summary
Gary Parrish and Matt Norlander get going on today's episode by revealing how a man who does not play tennis winds up with tennis elbow -- in both arms. You already know which of the two this happened to. Then, they get to the curious story involving famed attorney Michael Avenatti, who is facing multiple serious charges in multiple cases, but nonetheless has become the figure at the center of allegations toward Nike for allegedly paying multiple high-profile high school prospects (11:30). Family members or representatives tied to Deandre Ayton, Bol Bol, Zion Williamson and Romeo Langford have been named in a federal complaint. This also leads to a quick conversation (30:00) on when the NCAA is going to drop those expected NOAs on big programs. Then it's a fun convo on KenPom's historic rankings of every program since 1996-97 (34:30). Duke, Kentucky, Kansas, UNC and Arizona round out the top five. The guys close on the repeal of the "Rich Paul Rule," (46:00) which saw the NCAA acting faster than it usually does to make change.

| 0:24.0 | off season a new episode every week, so we're here. Norlander, what's up with it? |
| 0:28.8 | Well every week except I do have a vacation next week so I don't even know if you were |
| 0:33.1 | aware of that, but yes, I will be off next week. So barring something extremely drastic, |
| 0:39.1 | this will be the last podcast for anywhere between 11 and 15 days. But yeah man, thanks |
| 0:44.9 | to the listeners real quick here. This is, these are the true dog days of the College Basketball |
| 0:49.6 | Off Season. August is way low on interesting stuff. Usually for the most part, although |
| 0:54.5 | we do have some good stuff on the podcast here and we know we still have a consistent |
| 0:59.4 | listenership, so thank you so much. We really do appreciate that and regardless of how |
| 1:04.7 | much news there is or isn't with the exception of vacation weeks, we will continue to give |
| 1:08.8 | you podcasts weekly until we get up to the start of the season in which case, of course, |
| 1:12.0 | we'll be going back three times a week. |
| 1:14.2 | Anytime I'm battling tennis elbow, both elbows. |
| 1:17.0 | Alright, so that's, I'm sure you've talked about this on your radio show, but I'm going |
| 1:21.3 | to allow you the floor here to do this. But my question, see, as you say that, what the |
| 1:25.4 | listeners don't know that I do know is you took a sledgehammer to some stuff on your |
| 1:32.7 | property in recent weeks, which I know led you to walking around like Frankenstein's |
| 1:37.7 | monster in Colorado Springs. There was a tightening, a tightness in your muscles. So |
| 1:42.7 | the fact that you have double tennis elbow is it directly related to you going ham on |
